aBOUT THE NECCPA

The Northern Essex Community College Professional Association (NECCPA) is the local chapter of the Massachusetts Community College Council (MCCC). The MCCC is comprised of 15 chapters, each representing one of the public community colleges in Massachusetts. The MCCC is a statewide local affiliate of the Massachusetts Teachers Association (MTA), which is a member of the National Education Association (NEA). The NECCPA represents the local interests of two state recognized collective bargaining units at NECC: (1) the Day Unit comprised of Full Time Faculty and Full and Part Time Professional Staff and (2) the Division of Continuing Education comprised of all those who teach in DCE.
